Tallinn University of Technology is one of the largest universities in Estonia – it has over 72 buildings on 55,5 ha (137 acres).
3D Wayfinder solution lists all lecture halls, offices, dining rooms, services and other public rooms. The software is also integrated with the in-house personnel system so that it’s possible to search for a room or a lecturer. Today the 3D map contains over 1000 rooms, which are located approximately across the territory of 133 000 m². Some of the separate buildings aren’t yet mapped so in the future the size of the project will grow even more.

“We are open to innovative solutions and wish to improve the quality of our services. This application serves them both. In near future we plan to integrate also other in-house systems which makes the application even more useful. Also, we are moving towards indoor positioning on mobile”, said the Marketing Director of TUT Heiki Lemba.
