Hardware requirements may vary depending on the size and complexity of the 3D model, screen resolution and additional integrations. For a standard Full HD 3D Wayfinder kiosk, we recommend at least the following specifications:

  • Operating system: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit or Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC
  • Processor: Intel Processor N100/N150 or an equivalent modern AMD processor with at least four cores
  • Graphics: Modern integrated Intel or AMD graphics with DirectX 12 and WebGL 2.0 support
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Storage: 128 GB SSD
  • Display: Full HD touchscreen with a resolution of at least 1920 × 1080
  • Touch technology: 10-point capacitive multi-touch
  • Network: Gigabit Ethernet; Wi-Fi may be used as a backup connection
  • Connections: HDMI or DisplayPort, USB for the touchscreen and an Ethernet port
  • Security: TPM 2.0, UEFI and Secure Boot support
  • Browser: An up-to-date Chromium-based browser with hardware acceleration enabled

For large or highly detailed 3D models, 4K displays, video advertising or multiple software integrations, we recommend a more powerful Intel Core i3/i5 or AMD Ryzen processor, 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

The kiosk computer should also support automatic startup after a power failure and be designed for continuous commercial operation.
